Dogs
When we say we are dog friendly it is not just a statement. It is an absolute. As a matter of fact we have our very own resident friend, Diesel by name (a British Bulldog), who is also people friendly and very tolerant to a bit of extra loving.
Your dogs are our friends and are more than welcome to be with you even if you choose to dine in the bar. Moffat is a dog lovers paradise with numerous walks in all directions enjoyed by all.
COST: £5 per dog/per night (Maximum of 2 dogs per room)
Wine
Sometimes there can be nothing better than flicking off your shoes, pouring yourself a large glass of vino and flopping yourself onto your bed … not forgetting the sighs of contentment.
We have put together a selection of wines in two price ranges for you to purchase before your visit via our online booking system. We can have them sitting in your room for your arrival … However, if there are other wines over and above these that you spot on our wine list, please give us a call and we can make the arrangements for you.

Packed Lunches
If you know what kind of day you have ahead, whether it’s a work or pleasure we can take the stress out of thinking about lunch. We have a wide selection of bits and pieces with numerous fillings. We’ll be able to set you up for the do and keep you going.

Moffat Toffee
Moffat Toffee has a reputation far and wide for it’s unique and popular taste. The recipe is a closely guarded family secret created, by the passionate Janet Cook Johnstone and has been around since the late 1800’s! The shop itself will have kids drooling and adults delving into their inner child with probably one of the largest selections of confectionery in Scotland if not the UK.
For your convenience we are stocking the small tins at the same price you would buy one for at the Moffat Toffee Shop itself. We also have Vanilla Tablet and/or Assorted Tablet in the popular Moffat Tartan boxes too. If you purchase a tin or a box before your stay and by your request, we could have it sitting on your pillow for you to dive into when you arrive.
If you are buying it as a gift for family or a friend we’ll keep it somewhere safe for you, we know it would be too tempting to have a wee nibble.
