WINTER FACILITIES – B&B Only (Bar Closed) … Please note that the hotel will operate as a B&B only during the winter months, normally the 1st of November through to the 14th of March. A well stocked honesty bar is available in the comfortable, social TV lounge and there are many eateries right on the doorstep in the town.

The comfortable and relaxing Bar, commonly known as “The Bucc” by those in Moffat provides an ideal venue to unwind.

Stocked with most beverages found in any mainline bar our venue is popular with locals and visitors alike. Also and definitely worth a mention is our growing collection of over 70 single malt whisky’s and an award winning wine list to die for.

We’re lucky that the mystique of wine and wine protocol has evolved to the point where we can all just enjoy the pleasures of the grape. Most of our wines have already been paired with our dishes to give you the most satisfaction and pleasure. If in doubt we are more than happy and indeed encourage you to have a taster before making up your mind. Our staff are well versed in wine and our wine list and will happily provide any guidance or support in this area.

The Bar is a very social and comfortable venue where you will be able to enjoy a good conversation over your tipple of choice or working your way through the 70 plus malts!
